Information we collect

When your organization registers for the Law Expo and uses the Law Expo Hub, we collect the information you provide: your organization name and administrative contact, the names, titles, emails and cell numbers of attending representatives, gift-bag details such as apparel sizing and gift preference, dietary or accessibility notes, shipping and tracking details, uploaded program-guide materials, and electronic signatures on required forms.

We also store standard account information for each Hub login — your name, email address and the date you last accessed the Hub.

How we use your information

We use this information solely to operate the Law Expo: printing name badges, preparing gift bags, assigning tables, retrieving and placing your shipped materials, honoring accessibility and dietary requests, producing the official souvenir program guide, issuing receipts, and contacting you before and during the event.

Student attendee information

Attendees who opt in (do not specifically opt out) will have their information provided to our law school expo exhibitors and our sponsors after the Summit. Access to that list inside the Hub is limited to eligible exhibitors and sponsors, and attendees who opt out are never included. Exhibitors and sponsors may use the list only for legitimate recruitment and educational outreach, and must honor any later request from an individual to be removed.

How we share information

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the vendors and campus partners who help us deliver the event — for example North Carolina Central University event and parking staff, our badge and gift-bag suppliers, our print vendor, our shipping partner, and the technology providers who host the Hub, our database and our email delivery.

Security and retention

Hub accounts are password protected, receipts and uploaded files are stored in private storage accessible only to your organization and Summit organizers, and access to records is restricted by account-level permissions. We retain Law Expo records for as long as needed for accounting, historical and planning purposes.

Photography and media

The Summit and Law Expo are photographed and recorded. By attending, participants consent to the use of their likeness in Summit promotional and archival materials, as described in the Terms, Conditions & Disclaimers.

Your choices

You may review, correct or request deletion of your organization's Hub information at any time by emailing us. Representatives may ask to be removed from the Hub, from the badge list, or from post-event mailings. Requests are honored promptly, subject to records we must retain for accounting purposes.
